Fort Lauderdale
I am Gustavo E. Frances, a Fort Lauderdale attorney who represents people in family law matters as well as those facing criminal charges.
I graduated from Florida International University in Miami with a B.A. degree in criminal justice, and earned my law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, where I graduated with honors. I worked as an assistant public defender for three years before starting my own law practice. During that time, I defended hundreds of defendants with cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. I became familiar with the individual mannerisms and requirements of many of the judges and prosecutors, and I use my knowledge to help my clients make smart choices about their own legal situations.
Because I have spent much of my career working on cases in South Florida courtrooms, I have considerable local knowledge about the Judges, Prosecutors, and other local attorneys here. This built-in advantage means that I can leverage my experience to help my clients make the best decisions regarding their individual legal situations.
I have never been a pencil pusher. I am a lawyer who is a fighter, and I fight hard to help you get the best possible results in Florida family and criminal courts. To learn more about my education and professional experience, please follow the link below.
